The Brooklyn Youth Charitable Investment Group (BYCIG) is a student-led charitable initiative that empowers high school students to make real-world investment decisions while giving back to the community. Our mission is simple:

We raise funds and manage a diversified investment portfolio, using the returns, particularly from fixed income, to support impactful charities across the world. BYCIG is more than a finance club; it’s a unique opportunity for youth to learn the principles of investing, philanthropy, and teamwork, all while making a real-world difference.

Please note: the BYCIG is not yet recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. However, we have formally submitted our application to the IRS and are actively pursuing this designation. We expect to receive approval by the end of the current tax year.
