Get involved today and help make financial literacy ubiquitous among youth. BYCIG students are the leaders of the future.
The BYCIG is a modern educational organization that aims to teach both soft and technical financial skills to high schoolers of all backgrounds.
Experts agree experience is the best education. Experts are afraid to give uneducated students experience.
At the BYCIG, the “experience is the product.”
Engaging and effective online coursework that prepares members for their participation in the organization.
Once provided a role in the BYCIG you are given a chance to show your impact on a large organization.
Our most dedicated members can earn roles such as, "Head of Social Media," or "Portfolio Manager," that can carry weight on resumes and college applications.
The BYCIG started teaching high schoolers finance in September of 2024. Jasper Gould and Emile Chilingirian started the organization to help promote financial literacy and investment skills. It has become a testament to the resilience of the adolescent spirit — join today and help us change the lives of teens around the country.
Education is a top priority at the BYCIG. All of our members start by completing our signature “Intro to Finance” course, which teaches fundamental concepts of investing, and then can choose any other course. Certain roles have certain education requirements: for example, all of our investors have completed the “Valuation 101” course. 100% of BYCIG members are enrolled and active in at least one course.
This course covers the basics of finance and investing with a focus on public stocks and stock markets.
This course will introduce the BYCIG student to the ideas of valuation and the concepts that form cash flow valuations. This is a more advanced course.
